Have Your Say – Sligo County Council Public Realm Design Survey

By | July 28, 2021

As we previously announced, Sligo County Council has secured funding from the Rural Regeneration Development Fund to prepare public realm enhancement plans in Strandhill.

strandhill design survey

SCDA previously consulted with the community for input to collect your views on the needs of the community regarding the seafront and we have shared the findings of that survey with the consultants engaged on this project.

Sligo County Council and the consultants working on the project (LUC) are now asking for your feedback directly in their own survey. We encourage the community of Strandhill to complete this short survey and ensure the needs of the community are included in this design process.

It has engaged design consultants LUC to work with the council on re-imagining these villages to make them work better for everyone.

The first part of the project will be engaging with the public and local communities.

As part of this, the council has prepared two brief surveys, one for Strandhill and one for Rosses Point to figure out what are the issues that are important to locals and the wider community.

The survey is available on the Council’s consultation portal and through the SCC webpage at the link below.

The closing date for submissions is the 4th August at 17.00.
